Recording & Producing Music at Home:
Using GarageBand/Logic Express/Logic Pro on a Mac

In just six weeks you will learn a combination of recording, engineering, and production techniques that will give you the ability to create your own music at home ready for digital distribution. You'll start by learning how to configure your home studio for optimal results, work with audio loops, and sequence MIDI tracks. You’ll then learn the ins and outs of recording vocals and instruments, editing multi-track digital audio, mixing using digital signal processing with automation, and basic mastering. By the end of this six week course you will have a solid foundation of basic audio production craft and be able to apply it using GarageBand, Logic Express, and/or Logic Pro on a Mac computer.
